TOOLS FOR SUCCESS Book Review

                                            Tools for Success

(updated for 21st century by – Mitchell Underhill)

  • by- William Walker Atkinson

Tools for Success is based on the wisdom that in seeking success, the important work to be done is on oneself. In this book they emphasize developing the tools within that can enable you to crave from the world your own individual vision of success.

“Pursue your desire in life, earnestly and calmly. Hurry is not hustle; Bustle is not energy; noise is not strength. The individual of quiet, calm, earnest, and persistent qualities reaches the goal long before his people pf opposite Tendencies.

This is what is written in the book now, let me tell you about my experience with this book.

Tools for Success is a self-help book which tells us about how to attain success in Life. Success can be anything like wealth or money, fame, peace it can be anything. This book tells us about how we can find the way to success.

Now, here is something that I would like to add and that is, when you read this book, you can definitely find the way to success but you can’t find what is success is, in real. But if you have an aim, goal, or purpose of your life then you should definitely go for this book. This book is like “a river in a Jungle of Successful people’s which at the end give you the taste of every successful person mindset, thinking & attitude.

So now when you know that this book is for the person who have any aim, goal, or purpose in life, who is willing to travel the success Journey, this book will help you a lot.

As you know by the name of this book that this book will provide you Tools for success. And the tools were divided into two sections

Section A         AND

Section B
(PART I)

At Last, Go your way, friend, strong in your new resolves, string in your new-found strength. Do your duty, first to yourself; then to your brothers and sisters. Do not impose on anyone, and do not let anyone impose on you. If you give in to someone against your judgement and your conscience, you not only hurt yourself, but you also injure him. Do not start fights; but let no one harm you with impunity. If someone strikes you, strike back. Do not strike with hate in your heart, and do not hesitate to forgive him after the things has passed. Go through the world with the grace of God in your heart, and a big stick in your hand. Don’t use the stick for offense, but keep it to defend yourself.

(PART II)

Part I contains the inward tools for success

Part II contains the outward tools for success

Like an old saying “Success always comes firstly from inside and then from outside” Just like that, this book is divided into these two parts.

Inward and Outward Tools for Success.

Part one contains the inward tools, like, how can we attract success with the help of our Willpower, Soul force, and Spirit. Like before we drive a car, we must have a license which means that we have to give test to prove that we are capable of driving a car, just like that we must first learn the inward tools for success to carry out the outward tools for success.

Inward tools teach us will power, mental control, focus and Outward tool demands these things from us because in Part II there are exercises which needed mental control, willpower to get effective results from the exercises.

Mr. Atkinson understood that the ancient and powerful techniques contained in these outward lessons must not be used frivolously – for the benefit of the user as well as the world. We hope that the new generation will also need Atkinson’s warning and use their newfound power to shape the world for the benefit of all.

Here are some words from Mr. Atkinson,

Respect yourself. “Do not crawl on your belly like a worm. Rise to your feet, raise your head and face the skies, throwback your shoulders, and fill your lungs with natures breath. Then say to yourself: I AM a part of Eternal Life; I AM filled with the divine strength of Life; nothing can hurt ME, for I AM a part of ETERNAL.

The world will see that you have integrity, self-respect, and will stand no nonsense; it will treat you with respect.
